What are the drivers of the data quality market?
As we know, digital transformation is currently taking place on all fronts and in all sectors. And when we talk about digital, we are talking about data that is essential for customer knowledge, which is at the heart of this transformation.
Let’s take for example retail, which is largely converting to e-commerce. On top of online sales, this transition also impacts physical activity – the shift to ‘flagship’ points of sale, getting rid of paper leaflets, among others. All of this implies more finely tuned digital paths, which cannot be achieved without a sharpened knowledge of the customer, itself fed by reliable and verified customer data. Another telling example: data quality makes a valuable contribution to the fight against contact information fraud in the banking and finance sectors, as well as in the automotive sector in terms of credit solutions, among others.
Data quality applied to customer data is a universal need and is used in all sectors, in a wide variety of use cases. DQE leverages these numerous strengths to occupy a growing place in this market.
In a growing market, what is DQE's assessment of 2022?
In 2022, DQE focused on one major effort: transforming itself. During this year, DQE has put itself in a position to accelerate its development in 2023.
A major project stands out as a symbol of this transformation: the Ecovadis Gold label awarded in December 2022, which confirms our strong commitments to sustainability. This recognition provides our clients, partners, and suppliers with guarantees of our reliability, the thoroughness of our processes, and our ability to provide sustainable solutions and services to the entire market, both in France and globally.
DQE has been able to carry out this project thanks to an in-depth reorganization around three major departments: “Business” to manage our strong growth, “Tech Org” to innovate and assert our technical leadership and “Client” to support our clients and partners through quality services. This reorganization is accompanied by an expansion of our teams, which is continuing and is supported by experienced leaders to address all these issues. We have also put in place new service and CRM tools for our clients.
Of course, as a software publisher, DQE is above all a technology company that innovates. In 2022, we strengthened and improved the structure of our modular DQE One suite, which covers the entire spectrum of data quality, in both preventive and curative modes: qualification, deduplication, and unification of customer data, including on an international scale.
Today, DQE has taken up the challenge of this in-depth transformation and can seize new development opportunities.
What is the outlook for DQE in 2023?
In 2023, DQE will further strengthen its organization to accelerate its development and reinforce its leadership. Our clients include several world leaders in their fields, such as luxury goods, banking, insurance, energy, mass distribution and retail. At the end of 2022, DQE solutions were being used by a quarter of Fortune 250 companies and we are aiming to grow this share by the end of 2023. These clients trust us to make their customer data reliable on volumes of several million contacts worldwide. These large-scale projects confirm DQE’s ability to deliver and meet the expectations of some of the most demanding companies.
It’s no coincidence that our partners include world leaders such as Salesforce and other majors to be announced soon. Several major technology companies rely on DQE to deliver state-of-the-art data quality in their environments. We have put in place a certification program for our partners. This is one more marker of DQE’s recognition in its market as a top player.
In 2023, DQE will build on its leadership to accelerate its growth and add a major development path: the international market, with the opening of subsidiaries and the launch of our operations in England and the United States. The teams will thus be even more present at the heart of success, with the arrival of our first sales representatives in each of these countries at the beginning of 2023.
Finally, DQE’s technology and products will continue to spearhead the company’s ability to stand out in the market and deliver high-level data quality to our customers. The DQE One offer will continue to evolve, particularly by offering various innovative packages. Thus, DQE is entering a promising year in 2023 in a booming market.
After the transformation started in 2022, 2023 will be marked by a series of events and announcements to confirm DQE’s leadership in the global data quality market.
