DQE receives ISO 27001 certification for all its operational activities
The leader in data quality management demonstrates its ability to meet the growing challenges of protecting information systems on an international scale.
DQE, leader in data quality management, with operations in France, the UK and the USA, has consolidated its status as a trusted software publisher by obtaining ISO 27001 certification from AFNOR.
The certification covers all information systems and all the company’s operational processes, particularly in terms of HR, purchase and supplier relations. It crowns an 18-month project where all DQE teams participated.
This world-class certification marks a major milestone in DQE’s development and reinforces its authority in the data market. As an international benchmark in data security best practices, ISO 27001 demonstrates the seriousness of DQE’s internal processes and its commitment to protecting data in the data quality processes with which it is entrusted.
This certification is all the more important as it supports the work of DQE’s DPO (Data Protection Officer) in complying with international data protection rules such as the GDPR in Europe, the CCPA in the USA and the PIPL in China. The role of the DPO is to ensure that the company complies with these rules, providing advice and overseeing the way in which personal data is processed, while collaborating with the supervisory authorities.
ISO 27001 certification reinforces this mission in five key areas:
- Managing information security risk,
- Establishing clear security policies,
- Awareness-raising and training within the company,
- Managing security incidents,
- Regular company audits and monitoring, against which the DPO can request security improvements to reinforce compliance.
