DQE launches Look-up, the 1st solution that avoids the creation of duplicates in the customer base in real time

The Look-up module inaugurates the search for pre-existing data in the customer repository at the time of entry from business tools. Companies thus avoid the creation of duplicates in their RCU and enrich their Golden Record.

Duplicates are a universal problem in customer databases! To remove them, deduplication helps identify duplicates that exist in the database in order to merge them

In addition to this curative treatment, DQE is now adding a preventive treatment with its Look-up solution for companies with a dedicated customer repository.

How does DQE Look-up work?

From an entry on business tools such as cash register software, CRM or Web portal, DQE Look-up checks if there are similar records in the customer repository by API calls.

If the pre-existence of data is identified in the database by Look-up, the solution notifies the user and creates a human control step that was previously impossible at the time of entering a contact. The user can then follow the process defined by his company – not creating a new record and, above all, updating the Golden Record with the data retrieved directly from the customer.

Conversely, if no similar record is notified by Look-up, the user can proceed to create the customer record with the certainty that it is a new contact.

Maintaining the Golden Record

The solution also gives business line tool users the ability to update the preexisting customer record with the data they enter. Thus, they keep the Golden Record up to date with the most recently collected data.

By avoiding the creation of duplicates, the Look-up module contributes to the operational efficiency of users, particularly in customer services, at the point of sale or in the marketing department.
